Game
What is SOVEREIGN?
A geopolitical grand strategy game: you lead a state through one continuous campaign from 2000 to 2075 – with economy, trade, diplomacy, military and research.
How far along is development?
SOVEREIGN is a prototype in active development. Playable is the single player with the 2000 start scenario on the map of Europe, Russia, the Middle East & North Africa. The public roadmap shows what is being built right now.
Is the future from 2027 a prediction?
No. Everything from 2027 on is speculative and marked as such: design decisions derived from trends – not forecasts.
How does the game handle real people and conflicts?
Neutrally. Real people are portrayed factually, ongoing conflicts are not told as scripted events with predetermined culprits. What happens is decided by the simulation.

Do I need an account?
No, not for single player. You only need an account for cloud saves, friends and multiplayer – sign in with Steam, Discord, Google or email.
How much does SOVEREIGN cost?
The price has not been decided yet. There will be no pay-to-win; progress in ranked games is cosmetic.
Will it run on my computer?
You need a current browser with WebGL2 and WebAssembly and a large screen. The browser check on the “Play” page tests this directly; exact guidelines follow after performance measurements.
Can I play on my phone?
The game is built for desktop and tablet. On your phone you can have the link sent to you, watch live and read the codex.
When is Steam coming?
The Steam version is planned and shares accounts and campaigns with the browser (crossplay). The store page will follow.
Multiplayer & community
Is there multiplayer?
Yes, planned are campaigns with 2–16 humans plus AI over several evenings, quick matches and later ranked modes. The platform for this is in development.
How can I take part?
Through the public roadmap, the Discord server and the playtest waves. Voting and proposals start together with accounts.
May I monetise videos and streams?
Yes, explicitly. You will find material in the press kit.
Privacy
Does the website set tracking cookies?
No. There are only technically necessary cookies (session, CSRF protection). Statistics – if enabled – run cookieless and self-hosted; fonts and images come from our own server.
